AS 1300 contract signed with the Transport Training Office in Trøndelag, Norway

Click the image to enlarge itAnother success for the AS 1300 was achieved in June 2009, when AutoSim signed a contract with the Transport Training Office in Trøndelag, Norway.
The main activity for this office is to recruit new candidates to be trained as professional truck and bus drivers and logistic operators. This simulator will be the first commercially operated bus and truck driving simulator in Norway, and will in addition to its recruitment role also be used for testing of the drivers before, during, and after their education. In addition to this it will be used for the general driver training of bus and truck drivers, and for the driver training specified in the EU directive 2003/59.
The simulator will be installed at the Transport Training Office, TS Truck-stop, in Heimdal, an area where lots of drivers and heavy vehicle personnel are moving around. Behind panorama windows on the ground floor, the simulator will be an eyecatcher in the evenings and at night.
